The New Delta Power Grid is a strategic national project designed to secure the energy needs of the "Future of Egypt" agricultural initiative through key infrastructure, including the ND1 66/22 KV, ND2 220/66/22 KV, and ND8 220/66/22 KV substations. A vital component is the 94km ND7/ND8 transmission, which operates at 220kV to ensure stable power delivery across the region's vast reclaimed lands. This electrical network plays a critical role in supporting Egypt’s food security by powering advanced irrigation systems and large-scale agricultural operations.
